Job Opportunity: Development Manager – Marketing Technology

Hybrid, Seattle 

A leading financial services firm is seeking an experienced and technically adept Development Manager – Marketing to lead the strategy, development, and integration of digital marketing technologies. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise in .NET, React, and the Adobe toolset, combined with strong project leadership capabilities and a strategic mindset.


Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the development and execution of a comprehensive marketing technology strategy aligned with broader business goals.
  • Evaluate and recommend innovative solutions to meet evolving marketing and customer engagement needs.
  • ???????Lead the design, development, and customization of marketing platforms using .NET and React.
  • Integrate Adobe marketing tools (e.g., Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Campaign) with broader digital platforms and third-party systems.

  • Manage APIs and integrations to support a unified marketing technology ecosystem.

  • Oversee the end-to-end delivery of marketing tech initiatives, from requirement gathering to deployment.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, and IT teams to deliver projects on time and within scope.

  • Utilize analytics tools to track and evaluate digital engagement and marketing performance.

  • Enable data-informed decision-making through well-integrated analytics platforms.
  • ???????Lead a cross-functional team of developers, marketers, and analysts in delivering robust marketing technology solutions.
  • Serve as a liaison between technical teams and marketing stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.

  • Define and enforce best practices in development, deployment, and maintenance of martech systems.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies related to data privacy and governance.

  • Monitor platform performance and recommend enhancements to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Provide guidance and training to users to improve platform adoption and utilization.


Technical Expertise

  • Backend: ASP.NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, Entity Framework, LINQ

  • Frontend: React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3

  • Integration: RESTful APIs, GraphQL, Middleware

  • DevOps: CI/CD pipelines, Git

  • Databases: SQL Server, MongoDB, other NoSQL platforms


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Marketing, or related field.

  • 5+ years in marketing technology leadership, digital development, or technical project management.

  • Hands-on experience with .NET, React, and Adobe marketing tools.

  • Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills.

  • Strong ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

  • Track record of translating complex marketing needs into technical solutions.

  • Experience with cloud environments (Azure, AWS) is a plus.
