Job Title: Junior AV Installation Technician

Overview
A growing systems integration team is seeking a Junior AV Installation Technician to support commercial AV and low-voltage installations across New Jersey and New York. This is a hands-on field role focused on structured cabling, equipment installation, and supporting conference room and AV deployments.
The position is ideal for someone early in their career who enjoys technical field work and wants to gain experience working on commercial technology installations including AV systems, conferencing solutions, and network-connected devices.
Key Responsibilities
• Pull, route, label, and organize low-voltage and structured cabling
• Terminate and test cable runs for AV, network, and control systems
• Assist with installation and mounting of displays, speakers, microphones, racks, and other AV equipment
• Support installation of conference room technologies such as Microsoft Teams Rooms and Zoom Rooms
• Assist with installation of network cameras and access control hardware
• Help stage equipment, prepare materials, and support job site setup
• Work onsite at client locations throughout NJ and NY on a daily basis
• Support testing and troubleshooting of installations as needed
Required Qualifications
• 0–3 years of experience in AV installation, low-voltage cabling, electrical work, or a related technical field
• Basic understanding of structured cabling and installation practices
• Ability to travel daily to client locations across NJ and NY
• Reliable personal transportation and ability to travel independently to job sites
• Comfortable performing physical installation work including ladder use and ceiling access
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn in a hands-on environment
Preferred Qualifications
• Exposure to commercial AV environments
• Familiarity with conference room technologies (Teams, Zoom, displays, etc.)
• Basic networking knowledge
• OSHA or low-voltage certifications (a plus)
