Business Application Supervisor
We're seeking a skilled and strategic Business Application Supervisor to lead a team of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) responsible for some of our most critical enterprise applications—including Salesforce, ServiceNow, Smartsheet, and key ERP systems. In this leadership role, you’ll oversee day-to-day operations and provide strategic direction, ensuring the applications your team supports align with business objectives, run efficiently, and deliver exceptional service to stakeholders across the organization.
You’ll act as a central point of coordination—resolving complex issues, driving process improvements, and shaping the way our applications evolve to meet future business needs. This role is hands-on and highly collaborative, partnering with teams across IT, operations, and business units to deliver value and innovation.
What You’ll Do

Lead and manage a team of application SMEs, ensuring strong performance, timely support, and successful delivery of initiatives.

Act as the senior escalation point for technical and process-related issues involving enterprise applications.

Facilitate ongoing collaboration with business units, product owners, and technology teams to translate business needs into effective solutions.

Oversee the full application lifecycle—from enhancements and integrations to upgrades and vendor management.

Monitor team KPIs and service metrics, delivering coaching, feedback, and performance reviews to ensure continuous growth.

Identify and drive opportunities for process optimization, efficiency gains, and improved user experiences.

Ensure all work aligns with security, compliance, and change management standards.

Stay up to date on emerging technologies and updates related to Salesforce, ServiceNow, ERP systems, and others to inform future direction.

Support capacity planning, resource allocation, and hiring efforts, including managing vendor/contractor relationships.

Build and maintain reporting frameworks for resource utilization, forecasting, training, and performance tracking.

Participate in software implementations, maintain QA/QC processes, and document new procedures.
What You Bring

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field—or equivalent practical experience.

Experience: 8+ years supporting enterprise applications, with at least 4 years in a leadership or supervisory capacity.

Proven experience overseeing platforms such as Salesforce, ServiceNow, Smartsheet, and ERP systems.

Strong understanding of business systems, user needs, and how to balance operational execution with long-term strategic goals.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments and with external vendors.
