About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Product Analytics professional to support the team responsible for building and optimizing a best-in-class advertising platform for sellers.
In this role, you will help shape one of the organization's most important seller-facing products by leveraging data to better understand seller behavior, measure product performance, and identify opportunities for growth. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to evaluate product initiatives, conduct behavioral analyses, and develop insights that improve the effectiveness of the advertising ecosystem. The role also offers exposure to machine learning-driven products and the opportunity to partner with teams developing advanced optimization models.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Product, Engineering, and cross-functional teams responsible for developing and enhancing seller advertising solutions.
- Design, execute, and analyze A/B tests and other experiments to evaluate product performance and guide decision-making.
- Collaborate with product managers to develop strong hypotheses, define success metrics, and measure business impact.
- Analyze large, complex datasets to uncover customer behaviors, trends, and growth opportunities.
- Transform raw data into actionable insights through rigorous analysis, clear documentation, and strong data governance practices.
- Present findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior leadership.
- Contribute to analytics best practices by mentoring teammates and improving tools, processes, and methodologies.
- Support the ongoing evolution of analytics capabilities across the organization.
Qualifications
- Experience in Product Analytics, Data Science, or a related analytics role supporting digital products.
- Strong analytical and statistical skills with experience designing and evaluating product experiments.
- Proficiency working with large datasets and translating complex analyses into clear business recommendations.
- Experience partnering with Product, Engineering, and cross-functional stakeholders throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Familiarity with experimentation frameworks, behavioral analytics, and product performance measurement.
- Experience working with advertising platforms, marketplace products, or machine learning-driven products is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Passion for using data to solve complex business and customer problems in a collaborative environment.
This is a remote, work from home position. This role is to be filled outside the states of California and Colorado.
