The Head of Engineering Applications is a senior technology leadership position responsible for driving the strategy, delivery, and modernization of enterprise platforms and customer-facing applications. This individual will oversee application engineering and Data & AI functions, helping advance scalable technology solutions while ensuring strong operational performance, security, and engineering best practices.

This leader will partner closely with executive stakeholders, business teams, and external vendors to support digital transformation initiatives across a complex technology landscape. The role will focus on improving development processes, modernizing application architecture, and enabling data-driven capabilities that support long-term business growth.

Core responsibilities include:

• Leading and developing high-performing engineering and Data & AI teams
• Establishing development standards, architectural governance, and SDLC best practices
• Driving modernization initiatives across cloud and enterprise platforms
• Collaborating with business stakeholders to define technology roadmaps and prioritize strategic initiatives
• Overseeing software quality, release management, security, and operational support processes
• Supporting cloud-native engineering practices, CI/CD adoption, and scalable application delivery
• Managing vendor relationships, budgeting, and resource planning across engineering functions
