Job Summary
The Technical Implementation Manager will oversee the deployment, integration, and ongoing management of enterprise technology solutions. This role is responsible for leading technical implementation projects, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring successful delivery of infrastructure initiatives. A key focus includes managing IDF (Intermediate Distribution Frame) and NDF (Network Distribution Frame) deployments , ensuring network connectivity, reliability, and performance across sites.
Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end implementation of technology projects, including planning, execution, and post-deployment support.

Manage IDF and NDF deployments , ensuring proper cabling, patching, and network hardware installation.

Coordinate with network, infrastructure, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of systems and services.

Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and documentation for all implementations.

Ensure compliance with organizational standards, security policies, and industry best practices.

Collaborate with vendors and third-party service providers during rollout and maintenance activities.

Conduct site surveys and assessments to determine optimal placement of network and IT equipment.

Troubleshoot complex technical issues, escalating when necessary, and provide post-implementation support.

Train and mentor team members on network deployment best practices and IDF/NDF management.

Maintain inventory and lifecycle management of networking and infrastructure hardware.
Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering , or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in technical project management, IT infrastructure, or network implementation.

Hands-on experience with IDF and NDF setups , including cabling, patch panels, and network equipment configuration.

Strong understanding of LAN/WAN, switching, routing, and network protocols .

Experience managing cross-functional implementation teams and vendor relationships.

Excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills .

Ability to create network diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation .

Familiarity with network monitoring tools, troubleshooting procedures, and ITIL processes .
Preferred Qualifications

PMP or other project management certification

Cisco, CompTIA Network+, or similar networking certifications

Experience with data center and enterprise network deployments

Understanding of cloud connectivity, SD-WAN, and wireless networking
Physical & Work Environment

On-site presence may be required for network frame installations and troubleshooting

Ability to lift and move network equipment (~50 lbs) occasionally

Office and data center environment with occasional exposure to cabling closets and server rooms
