Job Title: Junior AV Field Technician
Location: New Jersey / New York (Local Candidates Only – Daily Onsite Travel Required)

A growing AV and systems integration company is seeking a motivated Junior Technician to join their team on a contract-to-hire basis. Key Responsibilities

• Assist with structured cabling, wiring, and equipment installation
• Support AV conference room setups including displays, microphones, speakers, and control systems
• Help configure and troubleshoot network video camera systems and access control integrations
• Provide support for Microsoft Teams Rooms and Zoom Room deployments
• Assist with programming and configuration of Crestron and Extron systems (exposure preferred)
• Work onsite at customer locations throughout NJ and NY on a daily basis
• Support testing, troubleshooting, and documentation of installations
• Learn integration best practices from senior leadership

Required Qualifications

• 0–3 years of experience in AV, low-voltage cabling, IT support, or related field
• Basic understanding of cabling, wiring, and AV equipment
• Exposure to conference room technologies (Teams, Zoom, displays, etc.)
• Comfortable working onsite daily and traveling locally throughout NJ/NY
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn in a hands-on environment
• Professional demeanor when interacting with customers

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to Crestron and/or Extron systems
• Familiarity with network video cameras and basic networking concepts
• Experience assisting with AV installations in commercial environments
• OSHA or low-voltage certifications (a plus, not required)
