Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the PAM team to implement and maintain database user authentication and authorization policies aligned with enterprise security standards.
- Integrate Oracle databases with identity platforms for centralized user management.
- Define and manage role-based access control (RBAC) models to enforce least-privilege access for internal and external users.
- Participate in PAM governance processes, including account reviews, recertifications, and access audits.
- Maintain audit trails and logs for database access and changes to support compliance requirements (e.g., SOX, HIPAA, GDPR).
- Support database encryption, tokenization, and identity-centric security measures to protect sensitive data.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to authentication failures, access provisioning, and IAM/PAM system integrations.
- Work with privileged access management (PAM) solutions for administrative access to database systems. Provide documentation and input to identity-related policies, runbooks, and incident response plans.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA in enterprise environments.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle DB security, user roles, auditing, and encryption features.
- Experience integrating Oracle with PAM or IAM systems (Azure Entra AD, Wellix, Delinea, etc.).
- Proficient in SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle Enterprise Manager.
- Familiar with IAM & PAM concepts: authentication, SSO, MFA, RBAC, PAM, identity lifecycle.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across database and security teams.
This is a remote, work from home position. This role is to be filled outside the states of California and Colorado.
