Job Title: Principal Network Engineer
Location: Hybrid – Millburn, NJ
Type: Full-time / Contract-to-Hire

Qualifications & Requirements

• 10+ years of enterprise network engineering experience, including architectural ownership in large, multi-site environments
• Proven experience operating at a Principal, Lead, or Architect level within an enterprise network
• Deep expertise in Cisco enterprise networking (Catalyst, Nexus, routing, switching, core/distribution design)
• Advanced hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls and SD-WAN architecture and deployments
• Strong experience with F5 load balancers (LTM/GTM; iRules preferred)
• Expertise with Cisco ISE, network access control, and authentication frameworks
• Experience leading MPLS-to-broadband or hybrid WAN modernization initiatives
• Strong scripting and automation experience (Python required)
• Experience supporting distributed environments spanning 20+ locations
• Demonstrated leadership experience mentoring engineers and serving as a senior escalation point
• Strong ability to define architectural standards, document best practices, and influence technical direction

Certifications (Highly Important)

• CCNP Enterprise required
• CCIE strongly preferred
• Palo Alto PCNSE required or ability to obtain quickly
• Additional advanced networking or security certifications highly valued
