Product Manager, Ambient Scribing
Location: Remote — United States
About the Role
We are advancing healthcare through innovative technology that empowers primary care providers to deliver better patient outcomes at a lower cost. By equipping clinicians with tools that support early diagnosis, proactive care, and longitudinal management of chronic conditions, we aim to improve the quality, efficiency, and accessibility of care.
We are seeking a Product Manager, Ambient Scribing to lead the development and evolution of AI-powered clinical documentation capabilities. In this role, you will enhance existing AI scribing workflows, expand ambient documentation capabilities across provider workflows, and leverage AI-generated insights and outputs to drive greater efficiency and value throughout the clinical experience.
As a Product Manager, you will own the product lifecycle from discovery, research, and roadmap development through design, execution, and adoption. You will lead a cross-functional team of engineers, clinicians, data scientists, and designers to deliver meaningful product improvements that address customer needs, advance business objectives, and improve patient care.
We value measurable outcomes over launches alone, with a focus on ensuring that every product improvement delivers tangible value to clinicians, healthcare organizations, and patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional product development: Partner with product design, engineering, and data science teams, while collaborating closely with clinical stakeholders, including physicians, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, medical assistants, coders, and billing specialists.
- Serve as the product subject matter expert: Develop a deep understanding of users, clinical workflows, business objectives, and the broader healthcare technology landscape to inform product decisions.
- Identify high-impact opportunities: Uncover and prioritize problems that create meaningful value for both end users and the business.
- Drive iterative product improvement: Deliver customer value early and often by testing hypotheses, incorporating feedback, and continuously refining product capabilities.
- Establish success metrics: Define measurable outcomes, develop appropriate performance indicators, and use analytics and dashboards to demonstrate product impact.
- Own product strategy and outcomes: Develop and execute the product roadmap, make informed prioritization decisions, resolve challenges, and empower the team to achieve its objectives.
- Support safe and effective AI adoption: Partner with clinical and technical stakeholders to evaluate AI-powered features, validate performance, and ensure clinical safety, quality, and usability.
- Expand the value of ambient AI: Identify opportunities to use ambient documentation outputs to streamline workflows, reduce administrative burden, and improve operational efficiency across the clinical experience.
What Success Looks Like
- Safe, high-quality AI capabilities: You lead rigorous clinical evaluations of ambient AI features, ensuring safety, quality, and usability while bringing meaningful product improvements to market.
- Measurable business and clinical impact: You work with cross-functional partners to establish metrics and dashboards that demonstrate tangible improvements in workflow efficiency, clinician experience, and business performance.
- Strategic roadmap execution: You translate product strategy into a focused roadmap, prioritizing initiatives that drive meaningful progress toward team objectives and key results (OKRs).
- Strong product ownership: You identify opportunities for innovation and improvement, including those that may not be immediately apparent, and guide the team toward solutions that deliver measurable outcomes.
- Continuous value delivery: You balance long-term strategy with iterative execution, ensuring that product enhancements are adopted successfully and generate sustained value for users.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of product management experience, with a track record of owning product strategy, roadmaps, and measurable outcomes.
- 4+ years of experience with primary care provider workflows, including experience in startups, digital health, healthcare technology, or emerging technologies.
- Experience working within an empowered product organization and collaborating effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
- Demonstrated experience bringing AI-powered products to market, including coordinating rigorous clinical evaluations to assess safety, quality, and effectiveness.
- Proficiency in SQL and data analytics, with the ability to use data to inform product decisions and measure impact.
- A working understanding of machine learning concepts and approaches, particularly as they relate to AI-enabled products.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and prioritization skills, with the ability to translate complex clinical and technical challenges into actionable product strategies.
- A results-oriented mindset and a passion for improving healthcare through technology.
Why This Role
