JOB DESCRIPTION
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior UX Research Manager to join their Research team in a leave coverage capacity.
In this role, you will lead research efforts focused on inventory and seller-facing experiences within a dynamic online marketplace environment. You’ll manage a team of UX Researchers who partner closely with Product Managers, Designers, Analysts, and Engineers to plan, test, and refine high-impact experiences for both buyers and sellers.

The Seller & Inventory group is dedicated to delivering exceptional buyer and seller experiences while maintaining a healthy, engaging marketplace ecosystem. The team balances iterative product improvements with long-term strategic initiatives, leveraging data, machine learning, qualitative insights, experimentation, and e-commerce best practices to drive scalable impact.
What You’ll Do

Lead and mentor a team of UX Researchers, supporting their growth in research methodologies, prioritization, and career development.

Guide study design across a wide range of generative and evaluative research methods, including mixed-method approaches in partnership with quantitative and market research teams.

Apply agile research practices and explore innovative approaches to delivering actionable insights in a fast-paced environment.

Champion the voice of the customer by ensuring research findings are effectively communicated, embedded, and acted upon by cross-functional teams.

Collaborate with fellow research leaders to evolve research processes, toolkits, talent development, and knowledge-sharing practices.

Partner closely with stakeholders across Product, Design, Engineering, Product Marketing, and Data Science to align on research priorities and inform high-impact initiatives.
