Advanced UX Researcher
Position Overview
The Advanced UX Researcher is responsible for leading end-to-end user research initiatives that inform product strategy, experience design, and business decision-making. This individual will drive complex research programs across multiple products and platforms, delivering actionable insights that shape user-centered solutions and improve overall customer experience.
This role partners closely with Product, Design, Engineering, and business stakeholders to ensure research findings are integrated throughout the product development lifecycle. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, skilled storyteller, and experienced researcher who thrives in collaborative, fast-paced environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead qualitative and quantitative research initiatives across multiple products, platforms, and user groups.
- Design and execute research plans, methodologies, timelines, and multi-phase research roadmaps.
- Translate research findings into clear, actionable insights and recommendations for cross-functional teams.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, Engineering, and business stakeholders to align on research objectives and influence product strategy.
- Facilitate workshops, stakeholder presentations, and collaborative sessions to drive alignment and shared understanding.
- Establish and evolve research standards, frameworks, best practices, and scalable operational processes.
- Mentor and guide researchers and cross-functional partners on research methodologies, analysis, and insight generation.
- Advocate for user-centered design principles throughout the organization.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Social Sciences, or a related field required; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of UX research experience, including ownership of complex research studies and initiatives.
- Deep expertise in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, including:
- User interviews
- Usability testing
- Surveys
- Data analysis
- Journey mapping
- Concept validation
- Experience working within agile, cross-functional product development environments.
- Strong communication, presentation, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience supporting enterprise, technical, or platform-based products preferred.
- Familiarity with design thinking methodologies, service design, and strategic workshop facilitation.
- Experience building or standardizing research operations, frameworks, or scalable processes is highly preferred.
