Job Title: SAP FICO Functional Consultant – S/4HANA Migration Support
Location: Irvine / Orange County, CA
Work Schedule: Hybrid (1–3 days onsite per week)
Contract Duration: Through November 2026 with strong potential for extension based on project performance and future release phases
Overview:
We are supporting a large-scale SAP S/4HANA migration initiative for a global manufacturing organization undergoing a critical transformation and stabilization effort. The team is seeking experienced SAP FICO Functional SMEs who can contribute immediately in a fast-paced, hands-on project environment.
This is an execution-focused role ideal for consultants who are comfortable stepping into active transformation programs, collaborating cross-functionally, and helping drive delivery toward key milestones.
Responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on SAP FICO functional support within an SAP S/4HANA migration environment
- Review and validate system configuration
- Support integration testing, UAT, and defect resolution activities
- Assist with test script review and execution support
- Collaborate closely with solution leadership, finance stakeholders, and offshore development resources
- Help stabilize and support project delivery leading into major release milestones
- Participate in issue resolution and functional troubleshooting across finance-related processes
Required Qualifications:
- Strong SAP FICO functional consulting experience
- Experience supporting SAP S/4HANA implementations or migrations
- Background working in integration testing and UAT environments
- Ability to work independently and contribute with minimal ramp-up time
- Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
- Comfortable operating in fast-moving project environments
Preferred Qualifications:
- Manufacturing industry experience
- Experience supporting project recovery or stabilization initiatives
- Prior greenfield SAP S/4HANA project experience
- Local to Southern California preferred
