Senior Business Analyst – Treasury Management Systems - Kyriba

 

Purpose and Job Summary

Working in a team environment, the Sr. Business Analyst will analyze business partners’

operations to understand their strengths and weaknesses to determine opportunities to

solve business and technical issues.  They will develop business requirements into

technical stories and seek out areas for operational improvements. The responsibilities

of the Sr. Business Analyst will also involve the implementation and/or integration of

products, new features, and new business. 

 

They must have a desire to work in a cooperative environment and have a proven track

record of delivering solutions combined with leadership in resolving issues. In addition,

at times they will provide hands-on technical solutions either through reports or program

development. 

 

Responsibilities                                                              

• Kyriba solution design and configuration for core treasury operations.

• Analyze and develop requirements and specifications that address business

• functions and workflow.

• Develop Test Cases and Test Applications thoroughly, when implementing

• system modifications, upgrades, disaster recovery, etc., utilizing users where

• appropriate.

• Configure static data and master data in Kyriba for treasury functionalities.

• Set up and manage bank statement integrations (Prior Day/Intra-day), including

• BTC sets, codes, and applicability criteria.

• Troubleshoot cash reconciliation issues and missing bank statements.

• Coordinate with Kyriba and ORIX’s internal business and other teams.

• Strong communication, critical thinking, and decision-making abilities.

• Experienced working within an Agile technology/product delivery environment.  

• Identify, assess, and articulate near-term business needs, advise businesses on

• options, risks, and costs of technology solutions vs benefits.  

• Support internal and external customers as a business consultant and problem

• solver with an emphasis on extraordinary customer service.

 

 

This position has frequent contact with all levels of employees and management. In

addition, this role may interact with outside business partners, vendors, consultants, and

other office visitors.

 

Experience

• 5+ years’ experience preferred in corporate treasury, treasury management

• system implementations, professional services or other relevant experience.

• Knowledge in the following functions is a plus: Cash Management & Forecasting,

Connectivity, In-house Banking, Bank Account Management, Payments, FX

• Exposure Management, Financial Transactions, General Ledger, Financial Accounting, Hedge Accounting, ERP Integrations & Risk Management, Fraud

• Compliance, Reporting, and various Admin functions (User Security, Data Permissions, Data Exchange, etc.).

• Previous experience with FTP, SQL, Business Intelligence is a plus. 

• Excellent problem-solving skills and enjoy coming up with innovative solutions. 

• Experience with Agile methodology

Preferred

 

• Kyriba Center of Excellence (COE) certification across various functional & technical modules including advanced modules.

• Previous experience with implementing TMS, FinTech, SaaS, ERP or Financial Systems is a plus.
