Senior Cloud Infrastructure & Mobility Engineer

Location: Greater NYC Area (On-site/Hybrid with Data Center access in NJ)

The Opportunity

An elite, global professional services firm is seeking a high-caliber Senior Cloud Delivery Engineer to spearhead the evolution of our Azure and Microsoft 365 ecosystems. This is a lead technical role designed for an engineer who thrives in high-security, high-availability environments. You will own the architecture that allows over a thousand global power users to work securely across any device, anywhere in the world.

Core Focus Areas (Manager Priorities)

• Azure Infrastructure: Act as the primary resource for Azure environments, specifically overseeing the architecture of Landing Zones.

• Security & Access: Lead the strategy for Conditional Access to ensure a "Zero Trust" posture across the global firm.

• Mobile Strategy: Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for Intune, managing a diverse fleet of iOS and Android devices.

• Data Protection: Own the Application Protection Policies to safeguard sensitive client data on both managed and BYOD endpoints.

• Regional Presence: Must be a NYC local with the ability to provide hands-on support at our New Jersey data center as required.

Technical Requirements

• Enterprise Cloud Mastery: 8+ years of deep-track experience administering massive Microsoft 365 tenants, including Entra ID (Azure AD), Exchange Online, and SharePoint/OneDrive.

• Modern Endpoint Management: Proven success deploying Intune at scale, utilizing Autopilot, and managing cross-platform device compliance (Windows, macOS, mobile).

• Advanced Connectivity: Expert-level knowledge of Azure networking, including vWAN, vNet, and cloud-native firewalls.

• Security & Governance: Proficiency in the Microsoft Purview suite (DLP, sensitivity labels, eDiscovery) and the Defender security stack (Endpoint and O365).

• Automation: Advanced PowerShell scripting skills to automate complex identity and cloud management tasks.

• Identity Services: Hands-on leadership in MFA, SSO, application registrations, and Privileged Identity Management (PIM).

Professional Profile

• Industry Experience: Previous experience in a highly regulated, high-pressure environment is strongly preferred.

• Project Leadership: A track record of leading global infrastructure projects from design through to operational hand-off.

• Communication: Ability to mentor junior staff and translate complex cloud architecture into clear documentation and runbooks.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent professional experience; Microsoft certifications are a significant plus.
