Position Overview:
A prominent law firm is seeking a seasoned Senior e-Discovery Specialist to support its Practice Support Department. This contract-to-hire role is ideal for a professional with more than five years of experience in litigation support and e-discovery, including hands-on experience migrating from Relativity Server to RelativityOne.
Key Responsibilities:
- Relativity Environment Management:

Lead and execute the migration of Relativity Server environments to RelativityOne.

Administer and support RelativityOne workspaces, including user permissions, structured analytics, and transform sets.

Perform routine system health checks, manage upgrades and patches, and troubleshoot system issues in collaboration with internal IT and vendor support.

- Litigation Support:

Provide technical assistance for legal teams on data processing, productions, and review workflows.

Build and maintain custom .NET utilities to support internal workflows for data ingestion and conversion.

Handle non-standard client data sources and transform them into reviewable formats.

- SQL & Infrastructure:

Manage SQL Server environments supporting Relativity, including maintenance, indexing, backups, and performance optimization.

Monitor server health and address storage and service issues across development, test, and production environments.

- Automation & Integration:
-
Configure and deploy new servers and environments, ensuring compatibility with core e-discovery platforms.

Create automated scripts using SQL and .NET to streamline maintenance and monitoring tasks.

Participate in planning discussions related to infrastructure improvements and application performance.

Required Qualifications:
-
5+ years of experience in e-discovery or litigation support within legal or vendor environments.

Proven expertise in migrating Relativity Server environments to RelativityOne.

Deep understanding of Relativity administration and core functionality.

Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server and experience with Ipro.

Familiarity with hybrid work collaboration and ability to support a technical environment in a law firm setting.
Preferred Skills:

Relativity certifications such as Relativity Certified Administrator (RCA) , RelativityOne Certified Pro , or other relevant credentials.

Development experience with .NET-based tools.

Understanding of structured analytics and transform sets in Relativity.

Awareness of security and compliance standards (e.g., ISO) as applied to e-discovery environments.
