The SVP will play a key role in evaluating business performance, assessing investment opportunities, supporting strategic initiatives, and identifying opportunities to improve financial and operational results.

This leader will serve as a trusted financial partner to senior management and business leaders, translating complex financial information into actionable insights. The successful candidate will also lead and develop the FP&A team while driving continuous improvement across financial processes, reporting, and analysis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with business leaders to develop and execute short- and long-term financial plans aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Lead the annual budgeting process, including coordinating inputs, analyzing financial assumptions, and preparing consolidated budget reports and executive-level summaries.
  • Coordinate annual budget and strategic planning meetings with senior leadership.
  • Collaborate across Finance and business functions to develop and maintain regular forecasts for profitability, operating performance, and cash flow.
  • Oversee monthly budget-to-actual variance analysis, providing clear reporting and actionable insights into financial performance.
  • Lead the preparation of financial presentations and reporting materials for the Board of Directors and shareholders.
  • Direct the FP&A team in developing financial models and analyses related to profitability, business trends, financial performance, and strategic business plans.
  • Deliver meaningful financial insights and recommendations to business leaders to support strategic and operational decision-making.
  • Oversee the annual compensation planning process.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop FP&A team members, establishing clear objectives and promoting a high-performing, collaborative team environment.
  • Support the development and execution of Finance strategies, departmental priorities, and broader organizational initiatives.
  • Lead or contribute to special projects, including financial modeling, strategic planning, business process optimization, mergers and acquisitions (M&A) analysis, and due diligence.
  • Perform additional responsibilities and special projects as needed.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; graduate-level education and CPA or CFA certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in accounting, finance, financial planning and analysis, and financial reporting.
  • At least 5 years of management experience, including responsibility for leading and overseeing an FP&A function.
  • Strong ability to evaluate business performance at both a strategic and detailed operational level.
  • Demonstrated track record of producing accurate, timely, and high-quality financial analysis and reporting for senior-level stakeholders.
  • Solid understanding of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Strong technical finance and accounting capabilities, with a proven ability to improve financial processes, systems, and reporting practices.
  • Broad understanding of business operations and the financial considerations affecting a complex, multifaceted organization.
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams in a dynamic and evolving environment.
  • Experience developing financial methodologies, analytical frameworks, and evaluation criteria to support business initiatives, programs, and organizational performance.
  • Demonstrated experience partnering with executive leadership and preparing Board-level financial analysis and presentations.
  • Strong executive presence and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders, provide strategic financial guidance, and communicate complex financial concepts clearly and effectively.
