This is a hands-on delivery role focused on execution, analytics, and infrastructure enhancement. You will work closely with and under the guidance of the PIE technical lead to maintain a governed analytics environment while helping advance key data and reporting capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver recurring and clearly defined reporting, while identifying, analyzing, and interpreting trends across multiple and disparate data sources.
  • Build and enhance canonical people data tables using BigQuery and dbt to support governed analytics and emerging agentic/LLM use cases, under the direction of the PIE technical lead.
  • Support data warehouse and data-modeling initiatives in partnership with the PIE technical lead, including backfill strategy, organizational and hierarchy mapping, and evaluation of data-quality controls.
  • Migrate, maintain, and enhance existing governed dashboards as part of a broader BI tooling migration, ensuring consistency and alignment with governed metrics and data definitions.
  • Manage and continuously improve the extraction and processing of market and compensation benchmark data from external sources such as Radford and Mercer.
  • Partner with stakeholders to ensure reporting and analytics solutions are accurate, scalable, well-governed, and aligned with business needs.
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of people analytics data infrastructure, reporting processes, and analytical workflows.

Qualifications & Experience

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • 3+ years of experience in HR, People Analytics, or workforce analytics reporting, ideally within a fast-growing or complex organization.
  • Strong SQL skills for reporting, data manipulation, analysis, and data modeling.
  • Hands-on experience working with a cloud-based data warehouse; BigQuery experience preferred.
  • Experience with dbt or a comparable data transformation and modeling framework preferred.
  • Experience working with version control systems such as Git/GitHub.
  • Proficiency with BI and dashboarding platforms such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI; LookML experience is a plus.
  • Experience using Python or R for data analysis, automation, or visualization preferred.
  • Familiarity with modern LLM and AI-assisted development tools as a productivity and quality-enhancement resource preferred.
  • Experience working with disparate data sources and datasets of varying quality and structure.
  • Working knowledge of data privacy, governance, and security best practices for employee and people data.
  • Working knowledge of core HR functions, including Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, Talent Development, and related people processes.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a technical and cross-functional environment.
