Contract Duration/Location:
- 6 months with potential extension. Initially the role will be 40 hours/week. Hours may increase or decrease depending on phase of the project.
- REMOTE in the US; CST time zone is preferred to collaborate with the team in PST, CST, and EST.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather user requirements and define UX strategies for our network and application security products.
- Design user interfaces for web-based dashboards, alert systems, and configuration tools.
- Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and visual mockups using Figma, Sketch, or similar tools.
- Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to refine designs.
- Ensure consistent branding and UI components across the product
- Translate security workflows and technical concepts into simple and effective user interactions.
- Contribute to the development of a scalable design system and UI component library.
- Recommend UX improvements based on user behavior data, stakeholder feedback, and industry best practices.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of UI/UX design experience, ideally with experience in enterprise software or B2B platforms.
- Proven ability to design complex interfaces and data-heavy and “one glance” dashboards.
- Experience working with cybersecurity, SaaS, or other technical products is highly preferred.
- Strong portfolio showcasing UI/UX work across responsive web applications.
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision).
- Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and accessibility standards (WCAG).
- Experience working in Agile or Lean environments.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to explain design decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working alongside front-end engineers and knowledge of front-end design technology such as React and Typescript
- Knowledge of data visualization best practices (charts, graphs, tables).
- Understanding of design tokens and scalable design systems.
This is a remote, work from home position. This role is to be filled outside the states of California and Colorado.
