Desktop Support Technician – Short-Term Project (FiDi NYC)

We are seeking a Desktop Support Technician to assist with a large-scale hardware deployment in our Financial District office in NYC. This short-term project involves imaging and configuring approximately 500 new machines, with the potential to extend into a longer-term support role.

Responsibilities:

• Image, configure, and deploy 500 new desktops/laptops.

• Install standard applications, updates, and security patches.

• Provide desk-side setup and initial troubleshooting.

• Document deployment progress and issues.

• Work closely with IT staff to ensure smooth rollout.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in desktop support or IT technician roles.

• Experience with Windows OS imaging and deployment tools (SCCM, MDT, or similar).

• Knowledge of Active Directory and basic networking.

• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and communication skills.

Project Details:

• Location: Financial District, NYC (onsite).

• Duration: Short-term contract, with possibility of extension into long-term support.
